Pitney Bowes - Engineering the flow of communication

Community Investments

Community Investments

Pitney Bowes has teamed up with the Women?s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to raise awareness and funding for literacy initiatives across the U.S. through the Fast Break to Reading Program.

Pitney Bowes is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve.  Each year, we donate close to $5MM to worthy causes through grants and matching gifts. We encourage employee involvement, and our employees donate thousands of hours in support of literacy programs as well as other community efforts.

Our grant-making is focused on initiatives that develop the workforce of the future and help close the achievement gap. This year, through our joint campaign with the WNBA, Pitney Bowes will help the WNBA build or renovate a Reading and Learning Center at the end of the basketball season in the community of the team that raises the most funds for literacy.

Literacy and Education

We provide funding to non-profits which support primary education initiatives including after-school and summer reading programs, mentoring, job training and more.

Financed by employee contributions and related matching funds, The Pitney Bowes Relief Fund helps to ensure access to essentials in catastrophic times of need.

Employee Involvement

Our employees dedicate time and money to support the causes they care about most - and we match their eligible contributions, dollar for dollar.
