How does the DM125 Digital Mailing System save me money?

How do I pay for postage?
You can pay for your initial postage deposit by credit card. For additional postage purchases you are eligible for two options, first, you can use our "pay later" account called Purchase Power and be subject to the terms of that account, or as another option, you can choose to prepay postage funds by sending a check to Postage by Phone. You will receive additional instructions with your meter where to send the check or you can prepay using ACH.
How do I add postage to the DM125 Digital Mailing System?
Connect to the Pitney Bowes Data Center 24/7 either through a direct network connection (LAN) or a USB connection to a PC with internet to download postage directly to your meter. No need to leave your office. (Analog phone connection optional for an additional fee.)
What is the charge for adding postage to the DM125 Digital Mailing System?
Your offer includes 2 free Reset Fees. After your 1st 2 resets we do charge a $9.99 Meter Refill fee when downloading postage. To minimize these fees we recommend downloading enough postage to last you a couple of months.
Does postage cost the same as at the Post Office?
Postage costs the same or less than at the Post Office. This meter qualifies for Commercial Based Pricing which is a discounted rate of up to 49% on Priority Mail® and up to 55% on Priority Mail Express™. These are savings that you cannot receive at the local Post Office.
Can I buy the DM125 Digital Mailing System instead of renting?
No. Only authorized postage meter manufacturers and the U.S. Postal Service may hold title to meters.
Can I return the DM125 Digital Mailing System?
Yes. If you are not completely satisfied during the free trial period, return the meter - with no further obligation. If you return the meter prior to the completion of your rental term, you will be responsible for early termination fees.
If I choose to download postage via a connection to my PC, what are the requirements?
Your computer must be running one of the following Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 or 8 with the latest service packs, 1.2 GHz processor, 512Mb RAM and an Internet Connection.
How do I know if my computer meets the minimum requirements?
With the DM125 you can add postage online using the following operating systems: Windows® 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 with the latest service packs, on a computer having a minimum 1.2 GHz processor with 512Mb RAM and an internet connection.
