The meter displays error code 162D and will not print.
Cause
This error is most often caused by a jam.
Resolution
You may be able to clear the error by simply restarting your meter and clearing any jams. Here are the steps to follow for a safe restart:
Turn the power off with the power switch, located on the left side of the equipment; wait for the display to turn off
Lift the cover and open all of the blue handles jam release
Remove any mail pieces and visible debris
Using a can of non-flammable canned air and working from the left side of the machine to the exit, blow onto the feed deck that the envelopes travel on
Wait one minute, then turn the power switch back on
