When a modem meter is trying to dial into the PB Postage data center, it may receive the error messages Data center busy or Connection dropped. When this occurs, you may need to change the phone number the meter is using. This may help the connection process.
Note: A prefix should not be entered in with the phone number.
Press Menu
Select Setup
Press the down arrow , and select Phone/Network Set Up
Select PB Phone Number
Press the CE/C (Back) button to clear the current number
Type in the phone number. You may use one of these phone number:
Primary 1-844-449-7224
Alternate 1-844-449-7223
Press the Enter/Yes button
Press the CE/C (Back) button until back at the Ready Screen
