How to clean the printer nozzles on the DM400, DM500 and more
Products affected: DM400™, DM500™, DM550™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM900™, DM1000™, and DM1100™
If the meter stamp is not printing completely and there are white lines going through it when using a Genuine Pitney Bowes ink cartridge, perform a printer maintenance.
- Press Menu
- Select Maintenance
- Select Clean Printer Nozzle. The print engine will perform a cleaning cycle on the nozzles.
- Select Print Test Pattern from the Maintenance menu to ensure the print nozzles are cleaned and the meter stamp is of high quality
- If the test print looks good, press Yes
- if the test print looks bad, press No and the cleaning cycle will run again
- Press the left arrow to go to the home screen.
