Error: 010A, How to resolve system error codes on the DM400, DM500, and more

Products affected: DM400™, DM500™, DM550™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM900™, DM1000™, and DM1100™


The meter displays error code 010A and will not print.


A failure with an internal component is preventing normal operation of the meter.  A base is detected, but no response was received.


Reseating the meter may resolve the error:
  1. Turn the power off with the button, located on the left side of the equipment; wait for the display to turn off
  2. Release the meter from the base using the blue latch on the right and remove it from base
  3. Reinstall the meter on base
  4. Turn the power On
If your issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Have your model number ready.
