You may be able to clear the error by restarting your meter and clearing the mail feed deck.
Turn the power off with the power switch, located on the left side of the equipment; wait for the display to turn off
Lift the top cover(s)
Remove the mail from the feed deck
Remove any visible paper fragments from feed deck
Lift all roller/belt levers to open the feed deck
Use non-flammable compressed air, working from the left side of the machine to the exit, blow onto the feed deck that the envelopes/tape sheets travel on
Note: Make sure to spend enough time in this step to ensure that dust and debris are removed
Close all roller/belt levers and the top cover(s) then turn the power switch back on
