Setting up package search preferences in PitneyTrack Inbound

You can change how the search works on the packages list to make it an exact search or a broad search.

You can change how the search works on the packages list to be more or less precise.

  1. Select Settings > Admin.
  2. Under Search Preference, choose either On or Off:
    • On: The search only returns results that match the search string exactly. For example, if you search on "lui", only package records that contain those letters in that order will be returned.
    • Off: The search returns results that match the search string, as well as nearby results that do not match exactly. This can be helpful in cases where there are misspellings or when the exact text or spelling in not known.
