How to select a postage class on the DM300c, DM400c, and DM475
UPDATED: 20 June 2015
Your postage meter is designed to make it easy for you to always print the correct postage amount. To do this, choose the desired postage class on your meter, and save it. This is called a preset.
To choose a class, follow these steps on your DM300c™, DM400c™, or DM475™:
- Press the Home key
- Remove any items from the scale
- Zero your Scale
- Scale options are accessed by pressing the Options key
- Press Zero the scale
- Select Class
- You will now need to select a class of mail. For example: Domestic Standard
- Select Letterpost
- Select Dom Standard
- Press the Enter key
- Confirm the display now shows the correct class
Note: in this example, it should read “Dom Standard” and “0.77”
Now that you have the correct postage class on your meter, you may want to save this as your Normal Preset in your settings. This will allow you to easily recall your most-used postage amount.
