If your envelopes are not sealing, this could be due to a few different factors. Try these troubleshooting steps to fix the issue with your meter:
Incorrect Feeding
- The envelope flap must be under the blue edge of the feed deck. If not, the moistener cannot wet the flap
Low Sealant Level
- Check the sight glass on the moistener tank
- If the sealant level is low, add E-Z Seal solution until it reaches the bottom of the fill hole
Dry Moistener Brush
- Remove the moistener brush
- Clean in plain water and rinse thoroughly
- In the brush dries out quickly, replace the moistener wick. Re-order # 946-1 from the Pitney Bowes Supply Line at 1-800-672-6937
Worn Moistener Brush
- Replace the moistener brush and wick service kit
