Resolving Error Code 2032 - Required $1 dollar meter refill

Error Code 2032 - Refill $1.00 dollar required

This error indicates a Canada Post™ security requirement, which means postage has not been added to your meter in over 1 year (365 days). It can appear as Error Code P2032 and 0E4C as well. 

To clear out this error code/message, a minimum of $1.00 (or more funds can be downloaded if necessary) must be added to the meter. It does not mean that you are out of postage, but you must add funds to clear the error.


Review instructions for your meter model to fix this error:

mailstation™ (K7EC), mailstation2™ (K7C2)

 A. Steps using Analog line:

  1. Press Funds button
  2. Page down to Refill Postage?
  3. Press Yes Clear Refill Amount
  4. Type 1 for $1.00 and Press Yes Ok? 
  5. Press Yes to confirm the refill of $1.00 
  6. After the Refill is complete, it will ask to Print a receipt
  7. Select Yes or No to print your receipt 

 B. Steps using PC Meter Connect:

  1. Open PC Meter Connect icon
  2. Select Postage Tab if not selected
  3. Select Add Postage To Meter
  4. Select Add Another Amount
  5. Type 1 for $1.00 and Click Enter
  6. Add $1.00 to Meter? Confirm 
  7. After the Refill is complete, it will ask to Print a receipt 
  8. Select Yes or No to print your receipt

DM100i™ (P7EC) 

  1. Press Add postage button
  2. Select Add another amount
  3. Type 1 for $1.00
  4. Select Continue
  5. Select Yes to confirm the $1.00 refill
  6. After the Refill is completed it will ask to Print a receipt
  7. Select Yes to print your receipt 
  8. The Security Code has been removed and the meter is working as usual

DM300C™, DM400C

  1. Press Funds button
  2. Press Menu button
  3. Select Refill 
  4. Enter amount $1.00 and Accept 
  5. Select Yes to confirm the $1.00 refill 
  6. After the Refill is completed it will ask to Print a receipt
  7. Select Enter to print your receipt 
  8. The Security Code has been removed and the meter is working as usual

DM450™, DM500™--DM1100

  1. Press Funds button
  2. Select Other Refill Amount
  3. Enter amount $1.00 and Enter
  4. Confirm Refill Amount, Select OK
  5. After the Refill is completed it will ask to Print a receipt
  6. Select Start or Tape to print your receipt
  7. The Security Code has been removed and the meter is working as usual
