Adding or removing a dialling prefix on the DM300C, DM400C

A dialling prefix, such as 9, may be required to connect to an outside line, depending on your phone system.

Adding a dialling prefix

  1. Press Options.
  2. Press Page Down twice.
  3. Select Data Centre Options.
  4. Select Phone Settings.
  5. Select Dialling Prefix.
  6. Enter the number required, such as a 9, then select OK. The franking machine returns to the Phone Settings menu.
  7. Press Home to return to the Home screen.

Changing or removing an existing dialling prefix

  1. Press Options.
  2. Press Page Down twice.
  3. Select Data Centre Options.
  4. Select Phone Settings.
  5. Select Dialling Prefix.
    1. To change the prefix: Press Back (C) to delete the existing prefix then add a new number, then select OK.
    2. To remove the prefix select No Prefix Required.
  6. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
