David Hope appointed VP of Software for APAC

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 4 MARCH, 2014 - Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) announces that David Hope is joining the company as Vice President Software for the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) reporting to Mark Wright, Executive Vice President and President, Pitney Bowes Software and Ecommerce Solutions.

“David will lead our APAC software team and brings more than 15 years of experience in the high tech industry in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Wright. “With a strong client-centric approach and deep expertise, he will help drive growth and adoption of the company’s expanding software portfolio.”

Prior to Pitney Bowes, Hope had regional leadership roles with IBM, Intentia and Lawson. Recently, he was the Regional Managing Director at INFOR Global Solutions, Asia Pacific South. In this role, he was responsible for revenue generation for South-East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand through a combination of both direct and channel sales with offices throughout the region supporting over 3,000 clients.

In March, Pitney Bowes will continue to enhance its presence in Australia with the merging of the software and mailing division head offices into one unified operation at Macquarie Park, NSW.
