The DI4080 / 4100 Inserting System
The inserter is available in two variants having 4 feeder positions (two A4 and two A5 feeders)
- The 4080 with a processing speed up to 8,000 mailpieces per hour
- The 4100 with a processing speed up to 10,000 mailpieces per hour
Both models are capable for the envelope formats C5 and DL (C6/5) and feature an optional inserting table to the rear of the main chassis to allow the processing of A4 flat material into C4 pocket envelopes.
The DI4080/4100 simplifies the most demanding job
The DI4080/4100 is the world's first multi format production inserter. Two insert tables allow DL or C5 format envelopes and optional C4 pocket envelopes to be processed at the same time with the documents being directed to the most appropriate envelope automatically. The DI4080/4100 has three insertion modes: DL or C5 format, C4 pocket format or mixed. The mixed format mode avoids the need to manually pre-sort documents or manipulate the print run to reflect the envelope size. The DI4080/4100 simply directs the accumulated set to the appropriate inserting area. In markets where postage charges are size based, the DI4080/4100 ensures the smallest format envelope is used, minimising the cost.
Versatile Scanning Ability
The DI4080/4100 can read all common symbologies including OMR, BCR, OCR and Data Matrix allowing it to produce some of the most secure documents available. All types of document from insurance policies to invoices and from statements to personalised mailings. Because the DI4080/4100 can insert document sets with significant page counts into a C4 pocket envelope postage costs can be reduced by grouping documents for one customer together, reducing the number of envelopes used.
The DI6080/6100 Six Feeder - Even Greater Flexibility and Capacity
The DI6080/6100 six feeder chassis has been developed to meet the expanding needs of the production mail environment and allows the processing of up to four inserts in addition to two prime document channels.
