Inaugural European Showing for Pitney Bowes’ New Technologies at Post Expo 2017

New technologies and enhanced product features unveiled for first time in Europe include In-Line Metering on flagship sorter and next-generation sending solution

POST-EXPO, Geneva, Switzerland, September 26, 2017 – Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI), a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, is revealing its newest physical and digital technologies at Post-Expo 2017.  Pitney Bowes’ very latest solutions and product enhancements unveiled at the show combine pioneering design with high-performance capabilities. The new technologies are built on Pitney Bowes’ drive to help clients generate success, an ethos which underpins the entire Pitney Bowes business.

For the first time in Europe, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest VantageTM Sorting Solution, Pitney Bowes’ flagship high-output sorter, now available with a new In-Line Metering function. This new Vantage addition – now available in Europe - is the first of its kind for a high-speed sorter, with in-line speeds in excess of 24km/h. It eliminates the need for manual metering or separating mail, enabling operators to process mail automatically. Production workflow is simplified, ensuring higher productivity and more efficient mail processing. The Vantage provides clients with a multi-application system, and the in-line metering function means that the operator can use a standard sorting process or set the machine to metering mode, leveraging Pitney Bowes Business Logic Processing. In-Line Metering is exclusive to Vantage.

Another inaugural showing is the SendPro® C-series, Pitney Bowes’ next-generation office sending solutions for all-in-one advanced shipping and mailing which will be available to businesses in Europe in 2018.

Additional technologies visitors can expect to see at Pitney Bowes’ stand 2050 in Hall 4 include:

TrueSort® high-speed automated parcel solution with multiple sorting capabilities including Tilt Tray

OneSort® Pro Dimensioning and data capture for complete parcel management

OneSort® Plus, an automated data capture solution engineered to handle large parcel dimensions and high weight levels

Relay® 8000 with file-based processing with speeds up to 5,400 envelopes an hour

Relay® Communications Hub for multi-channel customer communications

SendPro® P-series 1000 meter with SendSuite® Tracking Online, for mailing and receiving all in one place

Planet Press workflow software

SendPro® Desktop SendKit which complements SendPro subscriptions with an integrated scale and professional label printer

Pitney Bowes’ theme for the show is ‘Accuracy and precision – delivered’, which is an ethos reflected across the company and is a reason why clients of all sizes – ranging from 90% of Fortune 500 to one million+ small and medium-sized business – consider Pitney Bowes as a trusted partner to simplify the complexities of global commerce.
