Checking your postage account balance on the DM100i-DM200i and DM110i-DM220i

Learn how to check your postage account balance on the DM100i/DM150i/DM200i (P720) and DM110i/DM160i/DM220i (PR20).

Follow these instructions to check your postage account balance on the DM100 / DM150 / DM200 and DM110i / DM160i / DM220i:
  1. Before you start, make certain your franking machine is connected in order to communicate with the Pitney Bowes Data Centre. We recommend connecting via SmartLink™

  1. Press the Add Postage key
  2. Select Check PBP Balance
  3. The franking machine connects to the Pitney Bowes Data Centre. Various screens display, showing the status of the process. Once connected, the amount in the account displays:
    • Prepaid: the amount of prepaid funds remaining (Please note if you use Purchase Power you will need to login to Your Account to view your balance. 
  4. When prompted to Add Postage (Yes/No):
    1. press the Yes key if you wish to add funds
    2. otherwise press No to return to the home screen.
NOTE: The franking machine will also check if there are any software updates available. To keep your franking machine up-to-date, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update(s).
