To set up your DM50/DM55 or DM60 franking machine via wired LAN or
a wireless (WiFi) network, follow the steps below for the device that you have.
To connect your franking machine using a Pitney Bowes Communication DeviceOpen the
DM50/55/60 Communication Device Setup Guide and follow the instructions to connect your franking machine through wired LAN connection or WiFi using the Pitney Bowes Communication Device.
Note: On Page 12: "Ports and protocols needed by the Connectivity Device":
- Port 443 (HTTPs) should only be used with a DM60 (K722).
- Port 21 (FTP) should be used for the DM50/DM55 (K721).

To connect your franking machine using a SmartLink DeviceVisit the
SmartLink Setup Instructions page and follow the instructions to connect your franking machine through wired LAN connection or WiFi using the Pitney Bowes Smartlink Device.
