Sending post using Royal Mail Signed For rates on the DM50 and DM55

Learn how to send post using Royal Mail Signed For rates on the DM50 and DM55.

Important: Signed For rates will only be available on your franking machine until 31st October 2022 due to Royal Mail decertification regulations. Please contact your account manager for further information.

Use Royal Mail's Signed For service to mail items within the UK if you need a signature on delivery and online delivery confirmation.
  1. Press Class from the Home screen.
  2. Select Carrier appears. Press Review (Down) until Royal Mail appears.
  3. Press Enter/Yes.
  4. Scroll through the available options until RM Signed For appears. Press Enter/Yes.
  5. Select the desired Class.
  6. Select the desired mail type - for example: Letter, Large Letter, Small or Medium Parcel, etc. Once you have selected the desired options, the franking machine will return to the Home screen.
Remember that Royal Mail Signed For items require a barcode label to be applied so the Royal Mail can track your item. Take your Signed For items to your local Royal Mail branch or Post Office. Alternatively, obtain barcode labels from the Royal Mail.
