Withdrawing your postage funds on your cancelled DM60

Withdrawing your postage funds allows any unused credit on your franking machine to be re-credited back to you.

Withdrawing your postage funds allows any unused credit on your franking machine to be re-credited back to you.

If you are cancelling your contract, you must have confirmation of your contract termination before withdrawing funds and returning any equipment.

Important: You must return your franking machine after use. This is mandatory.

The entire process should take approximately ten minutes to complete.

Print a Funds report

Print a Funds report to obtain a record of the amount of postage in your franking machine.

  1. Press Menu/Options.
  2. Press Review down until Select a report? appears.
  3. Press Enter/yes.
  4. Press Review down until Print Funds report? appears.
  5. Press Enter/yes.
  6. When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet into your franking machine.
  7. The report prints. Press No to return to the Home screen.

Print an Account report

If you require a record of the accounting values from your franking machine, print the Account report.

  1. Press Menu/Options.
  2. Press Review down until Select a report? appears.
  3. Press Enter/yes.
  4. Press Review down until Print Account report? appears.
  5. Press Enter/yes.
  6. To print a report for an individual account, press Review down until Print Single Account report? appears.
  7. Press Enter/yes.
  8. To print a report giving all accounts values, press Review down until Print Multiple Account report? appears.
  9. Press Enter/yes.
  10. When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet into your franking machine.
  11. The report prints. Press No to return to the Home screen.

Withdraw the remaining funds from your franking machine

Important: This step will deactivate your franking machine.

Connect your franking machine as you normally would for a postage refill.

  1. Press Menu/Options.
  2. Press Review down until Change Setup? appears.
  3. Press Enter/yes.
  4. Press Review down until Remove funds from meter? appears.
  5. Press Enter/yes.
  6. Your franking machine connects to Pitney Bowes.
  7. £xxxx.xx transferred to PB Postage appears. Press Enter/yes.
  8. Your meter was taken out of service appears.
  9. If you see a different message, please attempt steps 1 - 7 once more. If the problem reoccurs the withdrawal process may have been unsuccessful. There is no cause for concern as any remaining funds will be credited upon receipt of your franking machine at our returns centre. Please proceed to the next step.

Disconnect cables

  1. Remove the power lead from the rear of your franking machine.
  2. Remove the phone or USB cable.
  3. Remove the Scale.
    Disconnect cables
