Explaining the annual Royal Mail rate change charge

Royal Mail is the regulator for the UK postal service. The majority of franking machines have Royal Mail rates programmed into them i.e. 1st class, 2nd class.

When Royal Mail announces charges in their postal tariffs Pitney Bowes creates a software download which will then update our franking machines with the new Royal Mail Rates.

There may be a charge applicable for this software download depending on your current contract.
