Big Data is here to stay and will grow to be the foreteller of most business decision, says location intelligence expert James Buckley. His prediction was just one of many insights shared during the most recent #PowerofPrecisionChat, sponsored by Pitney Bowes. The tweet chat was led by three leading business experts live from the SAP SapphireNow Conference in Orlando, Florida.  Together they helped throw open the curtains on the somewhat daunting topic of Big Data, shedding light on what it means, what value it can provide businesses of all sizes, and how a business can and should both manage and access that value.

Buckley, senior vice president, location intelligence at Pitney Bowes, was joined by digital media expert Jay Baer and award-winning business advisor Brian Moran, for a global discussion that drew several hundred participants from more than 24 countries.

The experts broke it down to what data can really mean for the future of a business. One message that came through, loud  and clearly,  was that every business – large and small - will falter, if accessible data is ignored when making key business decisions.

Here’s the summary of the chat that is chocked with helpful insights and easy to understand advice for business leaders. Mark your calendar for the next #PowerofPrecisionChat coming up Wednesday, June 3.
