We’ve got a packed agenda this year, with hundreds of retailers and brands sharing so many insightful thoughts, lessons and stories, including the keynote from Shark Tank’s “Mr. Wonderful” himself, Kevin O’Leary. But, we also wanted to draw some special attention to Newgistics, a new member of the Commerce Services portfolio and the Pitney Bowes family, who are on hand at the event this week to share their expertise with attendees.
Back in September, we announced our acquisition of Newgistics, Inc., a provider of parcel delivery, returns, fulfillment and digital commerce solutions, tailored for retailers and global ecommerce brands, based out of Austin, Texas. We were very excited to share this news, as Newgistics is playing an important role in helping Pitney Bowes expedite and broaden our portfolio of domestic parcel services for everyone from small businesses to enterprises. It was a big step forward for both of us and marks a new phase of expansion and growth.
What Newgistics Brings to the Table
Newgistics is a U.S. Postal Service partner that processes nearly 100 million parcels per year. They helped pioneer postal parcel return solutions back in 1999—at the dawn of the ecommerce era—and are the leading provider of USPS Parcel Return Service solutions today. Along the way, they’ve fundamentally transformed retailers’ view of easy returns, working with some of the world’s best-known retail brands.
“Returns are a critical part of the post-purchase experience, and today’s savvy consumers demand speed, reliability and convenience like never before. Newgistics was founded to improve ecommerce returns for retailers and consumers, and we’ve never stopped working toward that goal,” says Nick Pellegrino, SVP & GM of Fulfillment and Parcel services at Newgistics. “Now that the patented Newgistics SmartLabel is part of Pitney Bowes’ Complete™ Returns solution, we offer you more ways than ever to improve both customer engagement and efficiency.”
