The National Weather Service has characterized Hurricane Irma as a Category 5 hurricane and projected it’s potential path of impact from the Carribbean through to Florida and/or the eastern U. S. coastline. We urge all employees, clients and the communities within its projected path to listen to local authorities and news and take all steps necessary for your safety.

Presort Services

Given the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida, Pitney Bowes Presort Services operations in the region have been impacted and USPS® services may be suspended in select areas. Due to the storm, mail moving in and out of the impacted area will be delayed. We are working with our clients and the USPS to minimize the disruption. If you have any questions about your Pitney Bowes Presort Services account, please call your local Client Relationship Manager.

Support for Pitney Bowes employees

We are continuing to monitor the status of our colleagues in the impacted areas. If you have been impacted by the storm and have not reached out to your manager, please call 1-877-PB-CRISIS (1-877-722-7474). You will be asked for your employee ID number for security purposes. Support for impacted communities

In times of crisis, Pitney Bowes employees show their compassion and desire to help those in need. In response to Hurricane Harvey, colleagues across PB have asked how they can help those impacted by this storm and the ongoing flooding. While the desire to conduct a drive or collection to send materials to those impacted by a natural disaster is understandable, these types of donations often create significant logistical challenges that impede rescue and recovery efforts. 

During natural disasters, Pitney Bowes partners with:

  • The American Red Cross, which has tremendous expertise and resources to address the critical needs of impacted communities. 
  • The Pitney Bowes Relief Fund, which supports employees and others impacted by natural disasters and personal tragedies.

We encourage employees to:

  • Donate blood through the American Red Cross - Find a blood drive near you.
  • Support the American Red Cross and other charities that are making a difference, and match their donations through the Pitney Bowes Foundation
  • Support the Pitney Bowes Relief Fund during the annual Employee Giving Campaign in October.
