"Data Upload Required" message on the mailstation series

Before you begin

Make sure that your meter is connected to access the Pitney Bowes Data Center using a SmartLink device, PC Meter Connect, a Communication Device or a dial-up phone connection.

Solution 1: Meter prompts you to connect

  1. Press Enter/Yes when your meter connects to the Pitney Bowes Data Center.
  2. Press Enter/Yes when your meter displays your balances.
  3. Press No when your meter displays Would you like to refill postage? 
  4. Your meter connects to the Data Center before returning to your Home screen.
If your message does not clear, try Solution 2.

Solution 2: Check your balance

  1. Press Funds.
  2. Press Review (down arrow) twice.
  3. Press Enter/Yes when your screen displays Check amt available to download?
  4. Press Enter/Yes when your balances display.
  5. Press No when your meter displays Would you like to refill postage? 
  6. Your meter connects to the Data Center before returning to your Home screen.
