Shipping a domestic or international package with the Personal Shipping App in SendPro Enterprise

To learn how to ship a domestic or international package with the Personal Shipping App, watch this video or follow the steps below:
  1. The Ship From address will be the current user's default address. To use a different address, enter it manually, or click the Address Book icon and select an address from the address book.
  2. To use the same address for the return address, check Use as Return Address. To use a different return address, uncheck the Return Address box, click on the Return Address tab, and enter the new return address.
    • To add the address to the address book, check Save as new address book entry.
  3. To request email notification once the package is sent out, check Request email notification (carrier dependent).
  4. Enter the Ship To address manually, or click the Address Book icon and select an address from the address book.
    • To add the address to the address book, check Save as new address book entry.
  5. (Optional) To verify the address, click VALIDATE. (The system will automatically validate the address after completing the shipment details.)
  6. Enter the weight of the package manually, or, if a scale is attached, place the item on the scale and click the WEIGH button.
  7. (Optional) Enter the dimensions of the package in inches. Note: The carrier may apply additional fees if the dimensions are missing or inaccurate. Visit the carrier's support page to learn their dimensional rating rules.
  8. (Optional) Select a content type from the Content Type menu.
  9. (Optional) Enter any additional information you wish to include: Shipping Notes, Content Description, Shipper Reference, etc. If shipping internationally, the Content Description field is required.
    Note: The value entered in the Reference One field will appear in the statement provided by the payment provider.
  10. (Optional) To add insurance, check the Insurance Required box and enter the Insurance Value.
  11. (Optional) To add delivery confirmation, check the Delivery Confirmation box, then select either No signature or Adult Signature Required from the menu.
  12. (Optional) To have the package delivered on a Saturday, check the Saturday Delivery box.
  13. To add additional packages, click the +ADD button and repeat for each package. Use the arrow (< >) buttons to navigate between packages.
    • To delete a package, use the < > arrows to navigate to the package you wish to delete, then click the -DELETE button or select the package drop-down menu and click the trash icon.
  14. Once all of the package details have been entered, click NEXT. For domestic shipments, skip to step 15.
    • For international shipments, the International Package Contents page is displayed.
      1. Click the +ADD CONTENT ITEM button and enter the package contents for each item.
      2. Click NEXT.
      3. If the address has not already been verified, it will be verified now. Complete the validation to proceed.
  15. Once all of the package details have been entered, click NEXT.
  16. Select the carrier and service, then click CONFIRM RATE. If desired, change the Ship On, Deliver By, and Time of Delivery (HH:MM:PM) to view more options.
  17. Click NEXT.
  18. Select the credit card you wish to use as a payment method.
    • To add a new payment method, click the + (plus) sign next to Add New Payment Method and enter the credit card information.
    • To edit a payment method, click on the card, click the Edit link below the card, make the changes, then click OK.
    • To delete a payment method, click the trash can icon.
  19. Review the shipment summary in the Shipment Summary pane on the right.
  20. To find a drop off location, click View Drop Off Locations below the selected carrier. To view additional information about each location, click on the name of the location.
  21. Click the PAY & PRINT button.
  22. The system generates the carrier shipping label. Print the label and attach it to the package.
    • For international shipments, the system also generates any supporting international documents (including the international customs declaration) as well as the commercial invoice and, if needed, the Shipper's Letter of Instructions (SLI).
