"Inspection Due" or "Inspection Required" message on SendPro 300

The SendPro® 300 displays one of these messages:
Inspection Due: You still have 30 days to print postage, but it is recommended that you connect your meter to the Pitney Bowes Data Center at this time to allow the inspection.
Inspection Required: You will not be able to use your meter until your system is inspected. Connect to the Pitney Bowes Data Center to satisfy the postal inspection requirement.
The USPS requires a postal inspection of your machine every 120 days. This postal inspection requirement can be automatically met by connecting the machine to the Pitney Bowes Data Center to check your PB Postage™ account balance or to add postage to your meter.

Follow these steps to clear an inspection message:
Make sure the network cable is connected to the blue jack in the back of the meter.
If the message on the meter says Inspect now, continue to step 3.
If the message on the meter says Inspection Due, skip to step 6.
Select Inspect now.
Select Check PBP Balance. The meter will connect to PB Postage and display your available balance.
Select No to return to the Main screen. The inspection message should no longer be displayed. If the message continues to display, follow these steps:
Select Add Postage.
Select Check PBP Balance. The meter will connect to Pitney Bowes Data Center and display your available balance.
At the prompt to refill postage, select No.
At the Get Update Now prompt, select Get Update Now. Wait while the update is performed.
Select Continue to return to the Mail screen. The inspection message should no longer be displayed.
