How to print a test pattern on the SendPro 300

The test print allows you to print a test pattern to see if the print head is functioning properly or you have enough ink in the cartridge. Watch this video or follow the steps below to learn how to print a test pattern:

To print a test pattern:
  1. From the Home screen, select Mail.
  2. Select Options on the left.
  3. Select Advanced Features.
  4. Select Maintenance Mode.
  5. Select Printer Maintenance.
  6. Select Test Print.
Good Test Print
The test pattern should look like this sample (no missing lines). If it does, press Yes. You do not need to perform a print head cleaning procedure.

Poor Test Print
If the test pattern looks like this sample (missing lines), press No. The machine will then execute a print head cleaning. When complete, it will return to the PM maintenance menu.
Bad test print
If no pattern prints, check that there is ink in the ink cartridge. If the ink tank is empty, see How to change the ink cartridge on the SendPro 300 .
