Selecting the default FedEx account in SendPro Online or PitneyShip

A system-wide default FedEx account can be set by the SendPro or PitneyShip administrator. Each individual user can also set their own default account, which overrides the default set by the administrator.

In the classic version of SendPro Online, a system-wide default FedEx account can be set by the SendPro Online administrator. Each user can also set their own default account, which overrides the default set by the administrator (SendPro Classic only).

In PitneyShip, the default cost account can be set for each user individually from the Manage Users screen.

Selecting the system default FedEx account

Only users with the role of Admin can perform this procedure. This will be the default account for all users who do not have a different default account set (see below for details).

  1. Select Settings > Shipping Carriers.
  2. Select the Manage link next to the account you wish to update.
  3. Select the Make this my default FedEx account box.
  4. Select Save. The system default account has a star next to it on the Shipping Carriers page.

Selecting your personal default FedEx account

This setting can be set by each user. Individual user preferences override the default account set by the system Admin.

  1. Select Settings > Preferences.
  2. Under Default FedEx Account, select the desired account.

  1. Select Settings > Manage Users.
  2. Select the edit icon next to the desired user.

  3. Select the Default Cost Account for the user.
  4. Select Save and Close.
