Convert TIF to VDI
Syntax:
TIF2VDI <RESET> <INPUT TIFF> <OUTPUT VDI> <TIFF MODE>

TIF2VDI
The utility name.   :\MGRX.X\bin\TIF2VDI.exe
 
RESET
The path of the SET file that points to the VDR directory in which the VDI is to be stored. This file also contains the TIFFP and TIFFE parameters that point to the location of the input tiffs and specify their extension (TIF).
 
INPUT
TIFF the tiff files to be converted. The extension is not required if TIF is used when the TIFF is created.
 
OUTPUT
VDI the VDI file. The name should be no longer than fifteen characters. No extension is required.
 
TIFF MODE
The required tiff mode. The options are:
 
/T         Create a transparent image.
/O        Create an opaque image.
/Auto  Automatically determine, that is; retain the original image type. This is the default.
/I         Create compressed IOCA for use with use with VDD2IPDS. The options are:
/U       Create uncompressed IOCA.
 
Example:
 
TIF2VDI     :\..\File.set  BLANKTIF  BLANKVDI   /AUTO
 
Place the VDI  (BLANKVDI) on the VDRSUB300 directory
