How to put the mailstation or mailstation2 into sleep mode

Learn how to put the mailstation or mailstation2 into sleep mode.

When the meter is in "sleep mode", the display is blank except for the time in the lower right, and mail cannot be processed. To put the meter into sleep mode:
  1. Press the Lock button.
  2. At the Set System to Sleep Mode? prompt, press the Enter/Yes button. The machine enters sleep mode.
  3. To bring the meter out of sleep mode, press any button on the control panel.
Note: If the lock code option is enabled, you must enter the lock code to bring the machine out of sleep mode. Enter the four-digit code and press the Enter/Yes button. The available funds amount displays before returning to the main screen. For more information, see Setting the lock code on the mailstation or mailstation2.
