Certain classes of mail require date printing to be turned off. For most classes of mail you must print the date with your meter stamp.

Turn date printing off

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press Review (down) to scroll until the screen displays Change Date and Time Settings?.
  3. Press Enter/Yes.
  4. Press Review (down) to scroll until the screen displays Turn Off Date Printing?.
  5. Press Enter/Yes. A message confirms your choice.
  6. The display returns to the Home screen with dashes instead of a date.

Turn date printing on

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press Review (down) to scroll until the screen displays Change Date and Time Settings?.
  3. Press Enter/Yes.
  4. Press Review (down) to scroll until the screen displays Turn On Date Printing?.
  5. Press Enter/Yes. A message confirms your choice.
  6. The display returns to the Home screen with a date.
