How to roll back a Windows 10 upgrade due to incompatibility with Pitney Bowes software

Learn how to roll back/revert a Windows 10 upgrade on a computer that has Pitney Bowes software that is not compatible with Windows 10.

Microsoft is offering free Windows 10 upgrades for certain versions of Windows 7 and 8. Depending on Windows update settings, this upgrade may automatically be installed. If a computer that runs Pitney Bowes software that is not supported on Windows 10 is upgraded, the computer will need to be rolled back to the previous version of Windows in order for the Pitney Bowes software ​to function.
