Too many VDIs images are being created
Adding the PDFIN_HITS_FOR_VDI=OFF profile option corrects the problem
Vector and image mode.
This command can be used in either the Config or the Profile and specifies how many times an image is encountered in a job before a VDI is created for it. Using a larger value may reduce the number of VDIs created for a job. This command does not use more than 64 VDIs on a side. VDIs are not created for images with less than 512 pixels. PDFIN_HITS_FOR_VDI=n specifies that if an image with less than 65535 pixels is seen n times (default 5), or an image with 65535 or more pixels is seen (n+5)/3 times (default 3), then a VDI is created.
Note that it is more efficient to create a VDI for a larger image. After every 32 VDIs have been created, the PDFIN_HITS_FOR_VDI value is doubled. This is to prevent too many VDIs being created. VDIs are always created for bigger images, of which the bitmap size is greater than 1MB, unless PDFIN_HITS_FOR_VDI=OFF.
The permitted values are:
