Setting a maximum transaction limit for labels in SendPro Online or PitneyShip

The maximum transaction limit allows you to set an amount that any individual label may not exceed. By default, this option is off. Only users with the role of Admin can change this setting.

The transaction limit allows you to set an amount that any individual label may not exceed. By default, this option is off. Only users with the role of Admin can change this setting.

If this setting is enabled, the message "Label cost is too high" is shown if the cost of a label exceeds the specified amount.

Select your software version

There are currently two versions of our shipping software. Click on the image that matches your Home screen to view the instructions for your version.

  1. Select Settings > Admin Options.
  2. Check the Set a maximum transaction limit for all users box.
  3. Enter the maximum amount.

To remove the limit, uncheck the Set a maximum transaction limit for all users box.

 

PitneyShip (new) PitneyShip Home screen thumbnail

  1. Select Settings > User Management.
  2. Check the Set a maximum transaction limit for all users box.
  3. Enter the maximum amount.
