Resolve "Meter Disabled" on the mailstation and mailstation2

The meter displays the message Meter Disabled.


This typically indicates that the meter has been withdrawn from service.


You may be able to clear the error by restarting the meter and adding funds:
  1. Unplug the power cord.
  2. Wait one to three minutes.
  3. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
  4. Connect the meter using a USB cable for PC Meter Connect / Communication Device.
  5. Press Funds.
  6. Press the Review down arrow until the display says Refill Postage?
  7. Press Enter/yes.
  8. Enter the amount you wish to refill using whole dollars.
  9. Press Enter/yes.
  10. Confirm the desired amount and press Enter/yes. The meter will connect and add the postage.
If the issue is not resolved after following these steps, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Please have your model number ready.
