Resolve PDF-IN with PDFFLATTEN failure when input file has "%" character in name
Customer is running PIOM 2.4.
Issue
PDF-IN with PDFFLATTEN fails when input file has % character in name
Cause
Their applications are running PDF-IN and there are transparencies in the PDF.
A sample of the jobs tested shows that the input file name is My%File.pdf.
Running this job results in the following errors. I072423 PDF1 - Transparency/JBIG2 found, PDF needs to be flattened. E072425 PDF-IN - PDFFLATTEN Error: Unknown Error: Processing Range 0: Sides -1-18
W029270 VIPEXEC - Abort message: "PDF1 - PDFFLATTEN Error: Unknown Error: Processing Range 0: Sides -1-18" for job (Job Number)
The job is failing when there is a “%” character in the input file name.
A sample of the jobs tested shows that the input file name is My%File.pdf.
