The mail is coming out of the meter skewed or crooked.
The mail is not entering the meter straight.
- Make sure that the mail is against the registration wall.
- Make sure that you are not holding onto the mailpiece.
- If you have an oversized mailpiece, use a tape strip that can be affixed to the piece. Do not try to put oversized pieces through the machine.
