Jog 1 Command in PS Output Causes MICR Printer to Fail
The customer uses PIOM 1.0 in their environment. They are transforming AFP to PS. The output contains a Jog 0 command which causes the printer to fail.
This was reported as ER 61764 and fixed as vdd2ps.EXE P/I Output Manager 1.0.R2266.34 202.4.18. When they use PSOUT_SUPPRESS_INITIAL_JOG0=YES in the profile, the Jog 0 is not in the output PS file.
With this new AFP input file, there is also a Jog 1 in the PS output that is not being suppressed and causing the printer to fail.
PIOM 2.3 exhibits the same behavior from vdd2ps.EXE P/I Output Manager v2.3 220.8.
The Jog 0 command is suppressed but the Jog 1 command is not.
RevSpring is having an issue printing AFP to a printer in Phoenix. Printer Model Xerox Phaser 4510.
Through PIOM, we are doing an AFP2PS transformation and the PS is creating an offending command Set Page Device Jog=1.
