Installing DeviceHub for PitneyShip and PitneyShip Cube
DeviceHub is a program that connects your peripherals, such as printers and scales, to PitneyShip. DeviceHub is required for printing stamp rolls and envelopes.

DeviceHub is a program that connects your printers and scales to PitneyShip. DeviceHub is required for printing stamp rolls and envelopes in the new version of our shipping software, PitneyShip.
You do not need to install DeviceHub until your account is migrated from SendPro Online to PitneyShip. Once you have migrated from SendPro Online classic and installed DeviceHub, you can uninstall the SendPro Online software and the SendPro Scale App from your computer, as they are no longer needed.
Prerequisites
- Prior to installing DeviceHub, it is recommended that you download and install the latest drivers for any printers that will be connecting through DeviceHub from the printer manufacturer’s website.
- For Windows, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 must be installed. For information, see: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2.
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 will be installed as part of the DeviceHub installation.
- Note: DeviceHub does not support silent installation using .exe or .msi.
DeviceHub is supported on:
Windows 10 or higher
- In PitneyShip, select Settings > My Devices.
- Select Download DeviceHub Installer.
- Select Windows.
- Save the file.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Select Install.
- Select Finish.
- Go back to PitneyShip and select Settings > My Devices again.
- Select Activate DeviceHub.
- When the activation is complete, close the browser tab to return to PitneyShip.
- Select the Refresh button. You should now see your DeviceHub with the printers and scales that are connected to your computer. If there are other shared DeviceHubs on your network, you may see them as well.
Mac OS 11 (Big Sur) or higher
- In PitneyShip, select Settings > My Devices.
- Select Download DeviceHub Installer.
- Select Mac.
- Save the file.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Select Continue.
- Select Install.
- If prompted for your Mac password, enter it and select Install Software.
- Wait while the software is installed.
- Go back to PitneyShip and select Settings > My Devices again.
- Select Activate DeviceHub.
- When the activation is complete, close the browser tab to return to PitneyShip.
- (Optional) Delete the installer file using Move to Trash.
- Select the Refresh button. You should now see your DeviceHub with the printers and scales that are connected to your computer. If there are other shared DeviceHubs on your network, you may see them as well.
