Error Code: 2544, how to resolve on the mailstation or mailstation2

Learn how to resolve error code 2544 or E2544 on the mailstation or mailstation2.

The meter is displaying error code E2544 preventing its use.

A failure with an internal component is preventing normal operation of the meter.

Press the Clear/Back key if the error does not clear reboot the meter.

Here are the steps to follow for a safe restart:

Unplug the power cord, wait one minute
Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet

If your issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Have your model number ready.
