Printing a test print pattern on the DM300M-DM475

Try checking your ink cartridge and performing maintenance to improve your print quality.

Products affected: DM300M™, DM400M™, DM475™ (G922, RG9224M, SG922, RG9224)

Print a test pattern when print quality is poor to see if the printhead functions properly or if you have enough ink in the cartridge.

Press Options.
Press Page Down.
Select Maintenance.
Select Printer Maintenance.
Select Print Test Pattern.
Insert an envelope into the franking machine when the franking machine asks you to.
When Is test pattern is OK? appears, select one of the following options:
- Select Yes if the test print looks good, with unbroken lines.
- Select No, clean nozzle if the test print looks poor, with broken or fuzzy lines. The system executes a purge.
When Cleaning Complete appears select Done to return to the Printer Maintenance menu.
