Printing postage sheets in PitneyShip Pro

Labels must be printed on compatible postage sheets, which are available in our online shop. Each postage sheet has a unique serial number and contains 20 blank stamp stickers. PitneyShip Pro keeps track of how many labels you print with each serial number, so you do not have to use the entire sheet at once.

Label sheet printing requires that DeviceHub be installed and configured. Labels must be printed on compatible PitneyShip Pro postage sheets, which are available in our online shop. Each stamp sheet has a unique serial number and contains either 7 or 14 labels. PitneyShip Pro keeps track of how many stamps you print with each serial number, so you do not have to use the entire sheet at once. You can create postage labels to be used on mailpieces within the UK (including Guernsey and Jersey) using this method.

If you do not see a Send a Letter tab in your PitneyShip Pro home screen then visit Creating a domestic shipping label.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. On the Send a Letter tab, select Postage Sheets.
  2. Your destination location will automatically default to UK. If you are sending to Jersey or Guernsey, use the drop down menu to select.
  3. Your mailing date will default to today. Use the drop down menu to select a mailing date up to one week from today.
  4. Select 14 label or 7 label postage sheet.
  5. Enter a return address if required. Return address inclusion is only available on a 7 label postage sheet.
  6. In service type you can add 
    1. FrankPay Parcelforce Worldwide amount.
    2. A surcharge.
    3. Zero print - this is used to correct a date with a no value label.
    4. Royal Mail Services
      1. In Service Details select Standard Services, Signed for Services or Special Delivery Guaranteed Services.
      2. Select quantity from the drop down.
      3. Enter your envelope weight or place envelope on your attached scale and click the scale button to read weight.
      4. Select Letter (up to 100g) or Large Letter (up to 750g).
      5. In the mail service drop down menu select your chosen service. The cost of that service will be shown on the right hand side.
  7. Select Add to Sheet.
  8. Repeat for any additional labels you wish to print.
  9. If this is the first time you are printing an envelope on a particular printer, Test Print to check your printer settings before printing the postage.
  10. Select Print Postage.
