Understanding UPS Single Payer
You will be able to access the same discounted rates you previously used, with the convenience of paying as you go rather than being invoiced by UPS at a later date.
What to do if printing UPS labels from a meter
Shipping with a Multi-Carrier Account and you are not currently using UPS rates.
- You will now see UPS rates in the rate comparison screen
- If you select the UPS rates, you will see a message directing you to go the web
- Login to PitneyShip subscription (requires username, password, URL)
- Go to the carrier screen to activate and accept terms and conditions
- Add a payment method in the ‘payment method’ tab
- Set preferences in ‘Usage Preferences’ tab for UPS transactions
Note: Purchase Power, Reserve Account cannot be used for UPS transactions. You will not be able to remove UPS rates being shown in rate but can still filter for USPS only.
Using UPS PitneyShip Rates
- Your previous UPS account will be deactivated on June 25, 2025 and any outstanding invoices must be paid directly to UPS.
- UPS on PitneyShip will be replaced with Single Payer rates
- If you select the UPS rates, you will see a message directing you to go the web
- Login to PitneyShip subscription (requires username, password, URL)
- Go to carrier screen to activate and accept terms and conditions
- Add a payment method in the ‘payment method’ tab
- Set preferences in ‘Usage Preferences’ tab for UPS transactions
Note: Purchase Power, Reserve Account cannot be used for UPS transactions Will not be able to remove UPS rates being shown in rate but can still filter for USPS only
Using your own UPS & PitneyShip Rates
UPS on PitneyShip will be removed and you will only see your own UPS Account that you previously added

There will be no change to your process.
