Fatal error when running mail on the SendPro C

Reboot the device, check the ink cartridge is in the correct position and check for software updates to resolve a fatal error when running mail.

Issue

A fatal error appears when running mail.

Resolution

  1. Lift the top cover. The ink cartridge moves forward.
  2. Check the ink cartridge is in the correct position. If not, remove it and replace it.
  3. Close the top cover.
  4. Tap Rates and Updates on the Home screen. The device downloads, then installs available software updates.
  5. Press the power button for five seconds. The device reboots.
  6. Confirm the device is now operational by printing an envelope.
