Restarting the LobbyTrac (now Smart Access Management or SAM) tablet

You may need to restart the LobbyTrac (now Smart Access Management or SAM) tablet if there is a frozen program, required updates, or if you have recently installed a new driver or software.

You may need to restart the LobbyTrac (now Smart Access Management or SAM) tablet if there is a frozen program, required updates, or if you have recently installed a new driver or software.

Watch this video or follow the steps below to learn how to restart the LobbyTrac (now Smart Access Management or SAM) tablet.

  1. Use the key to open the tablet’s case.
  2. Remove the front cover.
  3. Press the power button on the top left corner of the tablet. This will restart the tablet.
  4. When reinstalling the front cover, be sure to check no cables are caught between the tablet and the case.
  5. The front cover should be flush with the back of the machine. This will mean that the front cover has been installed correctly.
