Printhead communication errors on the on the Connect+ Series, SendPro P
Remove and reinsert the printhead to resolve printhead communication errors.
Products affected: Connect+® 500W, Connect+® 1000, Connect+® 2000, Connect+® 3000, SendPro® P1000, SendPro® P1500, SendPro® P2000, SendPro® P3000
Issue
The meter displays one of the following errors:
- 041822009B: Printer PCA board error
- 04182200B2: Printer unable to communicate with printhead
- 041842003D: Missing printhead
- 041842003A: Missing printhead
- 041842003B: Printhead error in the left slot of {{printaxis}} carriage
Cause
The printer cannot communicate with the printhead.
Resolution
To resolve these errors, remove and reinsert the print head:
- From the Home screen, select Settings under Mailing.
- Select Hardware.
- Select Printer.
- Select Printhead at the top of the screen.
- Select Install New.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to remove and reinstall the printhead.
Important: You can reinstall the existing printhead. You do not need to install a new printhead. - Select Start or Tape to print a test pattern.
- Select Image is OK - Done.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
