Creating an Evacuation Order in Smart Access Management

Create an evacuation order to notify all signed in visitors and staff members to evacuate immediately. An active evacuation list will be created.

Create an evacuation order to notify all signed in visitors and staff members to evacuate immediately. An active evacuation list will be created.

  1. From the Dashboard, click Evacuation Order.
  2. Click Start Evacuation Order.
  3. If email or SMS notifications are not required to be sent, deselect the Send Evacuation Email/SMS to signed in Visitors/Staff tick box. See Enabling or disabling email and SMS notifications for evacuation orders.
  4. Click Confirm Evacuation Order. The location of the evacuation order appears in a red banner appears at the top of the screen.
  5. Use the tick and cross buttons to perform a roll call. If you click a person's name you see their contact details. Also, if they are a visitor, who the host is.
  6. To end the Evacuation Order, scroll down and click End Evacuation Order.
  7. Click Confirm.
  8. The evacuation order report appears in the Evacuation List History tab. You can edit the description, download a  CSV file or delete the report.
