Cleaning the printer nozzle on the DM100

Cleaning the printer nozzle can help resolve poor print quality.

1. Press Options.
2. Press Page Down twice.
3. Select Advanced Features.
4. Select Maintenance Mode.
5. Select Printer Maintenance.
6. Select Purge.
7. Select Purge C as the option to purge the system.
8. When the purge is complete, Print Test Pattern appears.
9. Run an envelope through the meter to print a test pattern.
   • If the print pattern looks clear (not blurry and without broken lines), the print test is good. Select Yes to return to the Home screen.
   • If the pattern has broken or missing lines or looks poor, select No. The meter will attempt a different Purge function and return to the Print Test Pattern prompt.

You can exit the Purge and test functions by pressing Home.
