Installing a thermometer with Smart Access Management

If you make any changes to the Smart Access Management web portal that affect your tablet, you need to refresh the Smart Access Management app.

If you are installing a thermometer for Smart Access Management for the first time, follow these instructions.

  1. Remove all packaging from the box.
  2. Connect the USB lead to the thermometer and a power source.
  3. Turn the thermometer on using the power switch.
  4. Tap the i button within the kiosk app.

  5. Tap Setup Thermometer.
  6. The tablet uses Bluetooth to search for the thermometer. Tap Connect. A green tick appears when a successful connection is made.
  7. Tap X to close the pop up screen.
  8. Ensure the Body Temperature Check is enabled in your sign in workflow.
  9. Sign in using the tablet. The temperature check step appears during the workflow. Follow the on screen instructions to scan your temperature.
  10. If access is approved, continue with the sign in workflow. You can set temperature limits within Settings > Access Sites.
