Analogue is fast becoming legacy technology and in most countries there is a target for analogue retirement, many telecoms providers are no longer extend existing analogue contracts or offering new products.
From October 1st, 2022, Pitney Bowes will no longer support an analogue connection method for our devices.
To ensure your business operations are not interrupted, a LAN or Cellular connection method needs to be established.
We have two digital options for you to choose from.
Our standard Smartlink solution uses your existing network for connection via digital LAN or Wi-Fi. Note that it is recommended that it remains connected to the network at all times to receive auto-updates. Cost: free of charge.
Smartlink cellular uses 4G Mobile technology which means the connection is not on your network. Staying connected ensures your meter software and rates are automatically download.
Cost: €212 + VAT
